About The Late Bus

I started playing when I saw my kids playing Fortnite, and it looked like fun. Maybe I could have fun too. And it was free, so even better.

Fortnite is easy to enjoy. It’s a cartoony, the premise is simple, and it’s addictive enough to keep you wanting more. Shooting ridiculously dressed characters then dancing over the possessions they dropped is incredibly satisfying. Especially after a long day at work.

Yes, it’s just a game and you have a life. Maybe even a partner and kids. But you still want to win. I do, too. I’m older, wiser, and should be able to dish out a beatdown commensurate with my seniority. But that’s not how it goes. The other players jump around, over, and even slide under me. So here I am. I’m going to share terminology, tips, tricks, and recommendations on how you can improve your Fortnite playing. It’s what I wish I knew.

You see how this article is in print? Not video. I’m not dancing around to music. I’m not posting memes. This publication is for you. I get you.

So put on your reading glasses, and let’s go!
